Payment Terms

These Payment Terms ("Payment Terms") govern all payments, fees, payouts, refunds, and related financial transactions conducted on or through the Plegz platform. These Payment Terms form an integral part of, and must be read together with, the Plegz Terms of Service and the Buyer and Seller Terms.

The Plegz platform is operated by Big Blue Dot Project OÜ, Tööstuse tn 75-71, 10416 Tallinn, Estonia ("Plegz", "we", "us").

1. Payment Infrastructure

  • 1.1 Plegz uses Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and its affiliated entities ("Stripe") as its third-party payment service provider.
  • 1.2 All payments must be made exclusively through the Plegz Platform using Stripe-supported payment methods.
  • 1.3 Users acknowledge and agree that Stripe's terms and policies apply in addition to these Payment Terms.

2. Buyer Payments

  • 2.1 Buyers shall pay the full price of the purchased Dot at the time of placing an Order.
  • 2.2 Buyers do not pay any Plegz platform fee.
  • 2.3 Value Added Tax (VAT) or other applicable indirect taxes may be added to the purchase price in accordance with EU and local tax law.
  • 2.4 Buyers authorize Plegz and Stripe to charge the selected payment method for the total amount due.

3. Seller Fees and Platform Commission

  • 3.1 Plegz charges Sellers a service fee equal to ten percent (10%) of the final net transaction amount.
  • 3.2 The service fee is calculated after deduction of any applicable VAT or similar indirect taxes.
  • 3.3 The service fee is automatically deducted before payout to the Seller.
  • 3.4 Sellers acknowledge that Plegz may adjust the service fee in the future subject to prior notice.

4. Escrow and Order Completion

  • 4.1 Buyer payments are collected by Plegz at the time of Order placement and held securely via Stripe.
  • 4.2 Funds are released to the Seller only after Order completion and confirmation in accordance with Platform procedures.
  • 4.3 An Order is deemed completed upon Buyer confirmation or automatic completion where no dispute or revision request is raised within the applicable review period.

5. Seller Payouts

  • 5.1 Sellers may request withdrawal of available funds at any time via the Platform.
  • 5.2 Subject to fraud prevention, compliance checks, and Stripe processing rules, payouts are initiated promptly upon request.
  • 5.3 In certain cases, including compliance reviews, dispute resolution, or payment provider requirements, payouts may be delayed for up to a maximum of fourteen (14) calendar days.
  • 5.4 Plegz is not responsible for delays caused by Stripe, banking institutions, or regulatory authorities.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

  • 6.1 Refunds may be issued only in accordance with Platform rules and applicable law.
  • 6.2 Refunds require confirmation through the Plegz dispute or resolution process.
  • 6.3 Where a refund is approved, funds shall be returned to the Buyer using the original payment method where possible.
  • 6.4 Platform service fees already earned may not be refundable except where required by mandatory law.
  • 6.5 Partial refunds may be issued where appropriate.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

  • 7.1 Buyers may not initiate chargebacks without first using the Plegz resolution process.
  • 7.2 Sellers agree to cooperate fully in chargeback investigations.
  • 7.3 Plegz reserves the right to debit Seller balances to cover chargebacks, fees, or penalties imposed by payment providers.

8. Taxes

  • 8.1 Sellers are solely responsible for determining, declaring, and paying any direct taxes on their earnings.
  • 8.2 Plegz may collect and remit VAT or similar taxes where legally required.
  • 8.3 Sellers agree to provide accurate tax information upon request.

9. Currency and Conversion

  • 9.1 Transactions may be processed in multiple currencies.
  • 9.2 Currency conversion rates are determined by Stripe or the Buyer's payment provider.
  • 9.3 Plegz is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or conversion fees.

10. Security and Compliance

  • 10.1 Plegz applies reasonable measures to ensure secure payment processing.
  • 10.2 Plegz may suspend payouts or transactions to comply with legal, regulatory, or anti-fraud obligations.

11. Amendments

  • 11.1 Plegz may amend these Payment Terms by publishing an updated version on the Platform.
  • 11.2 Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the amended Payment Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • 12.1 These Payment Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
  • 12.2 The courts of Harju County, Estonia shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Final Provisions

  • 13.1 Severability: If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
  • 13.2 These Payment Terms supplement and form part of the Plegz contractual framework.
